Vampy Fall Lip

Long time no post!

Today, I decided to try something I normally don't wear.. a dark lip. I am shocked by the compliments I have gotten today because I completely thought it was too dark for me. For a dark lip, I believe it is best to not go to heavy with the eye makeup because it can come off as too much, especially for work.

For the eyes, I used the PUR Soiree Diaries Palette I received in my Boxycharm box from September. First, I put the shade Mogul all over the lid to set the primer and help the other shadows blend better. Second I blended Gala on my lid below the brow bone and into the crease. I then put Splurge on top of Gala to deepen the color. Third, I buffed Epic very gently into the outer corner of the eye to create a smoky eye without it being too intense. Then I went into my Morphe 35O palette and reached for the third color in the palette which is a blush sparkly color and used my finger to press it onto my lid and then added Splurge as eyeliner with a liner brush. The to tie everything together I tried a dark berry lip from Loreal to complete the look!
