Zombie Makeup Tutorial
Hopefully my sister won't kill me for these pictures, but I did her zombie makeup look for a Halloween party her and her husband went to this weekend. He dressed up as Tallahassee from Zombieland so naturally, she went as a zombie. I also made her shirt by cutting up a tshirt and painting it (actually with nailpolish) to look like blood. This look was so much fun to do and let me be more creative since it's the first time I've tried to make someone look dead lol.
First, I put on her base of foundation, concealer, powder, regular bronzer, and eyebrows. Then I started doing the eye look. I used the Morphe x Jaclyn Hill eyeshadow palette (duh) for the eye look. I first put Enlight all over the eye to use as a base for the other colors. Then I blended M.F.E.O. into the crease and then put Buns on top of it. Next, I put Soda Pop on top of those transition shades, then I gradually put Royalty (purple yay!) underneath Soda Pop. Last, I put Abyss (black) on the lid and smoked it out a good bit onto the face. Then I mirrored the look on the bottom lashes (Soda Pop, Royalty, then Abyss) and blended it out to meet the smoky eye on top. Then I used Kat Von D tattoo liner in black to do a small wing on the lash line. Then I moved to the face and used a throwback palette, the Too Faced Smoky Eye Palette, to do the contour on the face. I gradually built up color on the face and forehead by first using Firefly, then Nice Ash, and last but not least, Smokin Hot (black). Then to add some highlight and white to make her look more "dead," I used White Lie on the forehead and cheeks. Last, I put mascara and red lipstick on plus used some fake blood and she wiped it over her mouth.
I think for the first time doing intense Halloween makeup it turned out really good! She definitely tried to play the part and be more serious or scary looking! I really enjoy getting to play with makeup and create looks like this!
